Celebrate Broadway’s biggest songs from Broadway’s biggest blockbusters featuring some of Broadway’s biggest stars! Wicked! Jersey Boys! The Phantom of the Opera! — three of the biggest Broadway blockbusters of all time. And that's just the tip of the show tune iceberg. 

The Spokane Symphony and a cast of New York's top vocalists will perform the showstoppers you love from Broadway’s biggest HITS, including songs from WickedThe Phantom of the OperaAnnie,Jersey BoysThe Sound of MusicChicagoCATSThe Lion KingA Chorus Line and more. It’s the ultimate show tune extravaganza! 

Spokane audiences will be treated to the engaging baritone of special guest artist Tom Wopat, known in the music world for his far-ranging interpretive skills, his lyrical phrasing and his gently swinging, jazz-infused rhythms. Best known for his starring role in the 1980s hit television series The Dukes of Hazzard, Wopat displayed versatility from the start. His television work was complemented by an impressive list of Broadway roles, including 1999's Annie Get Your Gun and 2008’s Catered Affair (he received Tony Award nominations for both), as well as ChicagoForty-Second St.Sondheim on Sondheim and more.

This concert is part of the 6-concert SuperPops Series and is currently only available through subscription. The SuperPops Series is the perfect way to enjoy exciting performances in a variety of entertaining musical genres from Broadway to Swing to classic Rock ‘n Roll, and more.  This concert may also be purchased as part of a Take 5 subscription. Single tickets go on sale to the general public on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at 10 a.m.
