In honor of its 50th Anniversary, QPAC is premiering a historic concert - Music of the Knights. Accompanied by the Queens Symphony Orchestra, Broadway veterans take the stage to celebrate the music of England's most famous composers - Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Elton John. Join us for this special fundraiser commemorating QPAC's 50th!
Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber is best known as the musical genius behind the Broadway blockbusters: The Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Evita. 7 Tony Awards, 3 Grammy Awards and an Oscar.
Paul McCartney gained worldwide fame as the bassist for the rock group The Beatles. McCartney is recognized as one of the most successful composers and performers of all time with sales of over 100 million with the Beatles and as a solo artist. His hits include Yesterday, Hey Jude, Let It Be, Ebony and Ivory, and Maybe I'm Amazed.
Elton John is the personification of a Superstar Pop Icon. Elton John has created such classics as Crocodile Rock, Can You Feel the Love Tonight (The Lion King), Candle in the Wind and Don't Go Breaking My Heart. In his five decade career, Elton John has sold more than 300 million records making him one of the best-selling music artists in the world.
